About this blog

Welcome to “It Can Be Done” the blog. I like to think that anything can be achieved and if we all felt so empowered the world would be a better place for it. Why wait around for the problems and challenges in your life to go away. Take life by the circular saw and build something to benefit yourself.  I’ve been doing this privately for some time and I’ve decided to share some of the more interesting and accessible examples here.

Most people assume that the products they purchase come from some mythical repository of products somewhere. In reality they are made by normal people with day jobs. While many of these professionals have specialized skills, you too can learn to do things. While the scale of mass production can be daunting, sites like Etsy.com and Instructable.com suggest that normal people can take control of their needs and provide for themselves and those around them.  The purpose of this blog is to highlight some of the ways that I have been able to do that.

Here, in this small corner of the internet, I make no effort to stay on theme or even in the realm of reason. I will, however, make every effort to be informative and helpful. I hope you find something interesting within these pages.
